Visual Response System

The Visual Response System (VRS) provides a means of asking Yes or No questions during an investigation.

Instead of relying on a device that only reacts to a stimulus of sorts, with the VRS you can ask specific questions and receive a response of either Yes or No.

It also gives you the ability to cross-reference questions to validate them.  For example, if you were to ask “Are you a male?” and the answer was yes, you can follow up with “Are you a female?”.  if that response is no, you have a validated answer to the first question.

As evidence, this can be considered as a validated intelligent response because it was cross-referenced.

How does it work?

– Uses a focused narrow-beam motion detector.  When the motion detector is tripped, it lights up the word (either yes or no).

– How to use – Set up both boxes at least 1 1/2 feet apart and turn each one on.

– Ask questions that have a yes or no answer.  Refrain from asking questions like “How many are here with us?”.

Directions for use:

Each box uses 3 AAA batteries.  The battery compartment is accessed from the back of the device.  Remove the four screws and use a small flat-tip screwdriver to pry up the cover.

Switch both boxes on and place the two boxes at least 1 1/2 feet apart.

When motion is detected immediately above the box, it will light up the corresponding word either Yes or No

Once triggered, the system takes approximately 3 seconds to reset.
