What does it do?  It can detect the slightest noise.  When it does, it will light up an indicator.

What good is that?  A lot of us like to investigate in the dark or near dark.  One of the reasons is that it heightens our senses. With that said, sometimes we question if we actually heard or seen something.

Like the SD1, it is a secondary evidence source. Maybe you are doing an EVP session and ask a question and you didn’t hear a response but the SA1 alerts.

Usage

During an investigation, you can ask the entity to either tap on the box or say something into it.  As this device only responds with a visual indicator, it is recommended you use this in conjunction with other tools such as a DVR, Insta-EVP,  or video recorder.

Why is this important?  Too many times, we only hear a response but it is not picked up by a recording device so it is often categorized as a “personal experience”.  If you have video on the Sound Alert, ask an entity to tap on the box, and if it lights up, now you have a recorded direct response.

Instructions

This device uses 3 AAA batteries.  The battery compartment is located on the rear of the unit.
